Plaza de las Libertades
In late 2005, hackitectura applied the theoretical hypotheses and practical experiments presented in previous smaller scale projects to the design of a permanent public space in the city of Seville. This was a competition of ideas for the rehabilitation of a park with installations across from Santa Justa Station (Seville), one of the main entries to that Andalusian city. In collaboration with Morales de Giles Architects and Esther Pizarro, we won the contest to build what came to be called Plaza de las Libertades (Freedom Plaza). Because of the 2008 economic crisis in Spain, the construction of the project was cancelled.
